Jasmine(Top) Daniela (Bottom)
I learned that out of everybody on this blog, everyone like to have the camera in their face so as long as they look, or think they look good. Just by pointing the camera at them or in their direction they will strike a flattering pose and won't hesitate to give the shooter a great shot.
In my opinion the large photo of Daniela is the best because it shows the most realistic emotion. She isn't looking at me striking a pose that is scripted or directed it is all natural.
Through out the photographs my lighting techniques changed. Overall I used indoor lighting with the exception of two or three photographs which were outside and with artificial lighting.
What I learned from shooting portraits is that so as long as the sitter is comfortable and friendly, the photographs will be amazing!
If i had the opportunity to re-shoot, what i would do differently would be my timing. I feel as if I rushed most of these photos. I took at most two or three photos per subject and i feel that it wasn't enough. Maybe if I had done ten The subject would have done something funny or revealing, who knows.
